Obituary for Terence Michael Bohan

Terence Michael Bohan, 61, of Rutherford, NJ, passed away suddenly on Sunday January 10, 2021. Terence was born on December 10, 1959 in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx, NY to Patrick and Margaret Bohan.
Terence met the love of his life Tara (nee Davitt) of the Bronx and they settled in Rutherford, NJ. Together they raised two beloved children, Brendan and Meghan. Terence received a Master’s Degree of Engineering from Steven’s Institute and was employed by Honeywell International, Teterboro, NJ. An avid sports guy, Terence was a dedicated coach of Rutherford Little League & Recreation programs. Terence was a member of The Church of St. Mary and enjoyed watching the History Channel.
Terence will be deeply missed by all including his siblings, Patrick (Rivka), Eugene, Elaine Cunningham (John), mother-in-law, Margie Davitt (late John Davitt), and in-laws, Deirdre Broderick (Danny), Rosemarie Davitt (late Kevin), John Rice (late Janet). His host of nieces and nephews, Siobhan (Ryan), Troy (Sheri), Caitlin (Matt), Cristina (Jacob), Owen (Elizabeth), Colleen (Michael), Brian, John, and the late Colin, Sasha (David), Ian (Abby), Gavriella (Jacob), as well as, grandnieces and grandnephews, Ciaran, Patrick, Ronan, Aria, Zachary, Shane, Tehilla & Grace will forever remember their beloved, ‘Uncle T’. He leaves an indelible mark on his friends, from St. John’s Kingsbridge to St. Mary’s Rutherford, who loved him dearly.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 13th from 3-7pm at Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave. Rutherford, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, January 14th at 9:30am at The Church of Saint Mary, Rutherford. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 ST Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.

On behalf of the Bohan family and for the safety of all concerned, due to COVID pandemic, the Funeral Home is only permitted to have 50 people at a time. We ask all visitors to please limit their stay to a short visit to allow other friends to pay their respects. We appreciate your cooperation.
