Louis P. Arnold, 60, lifelong resident of Rutherford, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic to the late Louis J. Arnold & Phyllis (nee Peters) Arnold.
“Louie” came from a law enforcement family; his father, a retired Rutherford Police Captain, his brother Rob, a retired Rutherford Police Lieutenant and his Uncle Tom, a retired Rutherford Police Lieutenant, so it was natural for Louie to follow in their footsteps. Louis was also a Rutherford Volunteer Fireman for Engine #2 and a member of the Rutherford First-Aid Ambulance Corps. He was a huge Yankee fan and loved “James Bond”movies. He was a great guy, a friend to so many, a devoted husband and loving father.
