Obituary for Ivan Arteschene, Jr.
Ivan Arteschene, Jr., age 58, of Rutherford, passed on Thursday, December 26, 2019 after a short illness. Ivan was born in New York City to Ivan Arteschene and Noella (nee Hoornaert) . He was the sweetest and nicest man, a true gentleman. He was a passionate cook and yes, he enjoyed his food, he was known as a "foodie".
Ivan and Paul had their two beloved cats “Frankie and Pokie”. They enjoyed living in Rutherford. In fact, Ivan and Paul were married four years ago in Lincoln Park which is located directly in the heart of Rutherford using the Gazebo for their ceremony and as their backdrop.
Ivan is survived by his loving mother Noella (nee Hoornaert), his beloved husband Paul McAllister and many wonderful friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Monday 12/30/19 from 4 :00 to 8:00pm. A Religious Services will be held in the Funeral Home at 7:00pm by the Very Rev. Michael J. Kreder, V.F., KCHS. , Pastor of the Church of Saint Mary.
Funeral is private.
