Eun Bok Kim

October 18, 1961 - January 6, 2021

Eun Bok Kim, a beloved mother, leaves behind her son Kevin and daughter Linda. After having struggled with cervical cancer for the last 6 years, she passed peacefully in her sleep on January 6th, 2021.

She was born in Korea, having three sisters and one brother, she was known for being fiercely independent and courageous having traveled to live in El Salvador at the young age of 14 with a friend then immigrating to New York in 1979 where she met her ex-husband and had two children. She then settled down in Rutherford, New Jersey where she lived for the remainder of her life.

She spent most of her time working as a seamstress in Manhattan to provide for her children but enjoyed spending time at church with friends.

As per her wishes, she was cremated so there will be no burial and due to Covid, there will unfortunately, be no traditional Korean meal served afterward.

Memorial visiting Saturday 2:00 to 4:00pm in the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford.
